Arc 1 The Begining

Ino watched as one piece became wet and the other looked as though it was dusted over.
Tenson watched as one caught flame and the other one crumpled.
"Earth and Water Ino two very diverse elements and Tenson your's are fire and lightning much like menma's those are offensive as well. Now I want you guys to run one hundred laps around the village. You have until the time limit and if you do not complete it tomorrow the laps will be doubled, and, go."

The three ninja took off running as fast as they could. You could faintly hear menma yell.
"You damn slave drive!"
Followed by a loud cry as Ino trip Tesnon.
"Bitch!" He yelled catching up.

The timed ended with only 64 laps finished for Tenson who cursed his strained muscles. Menma had been disqualified for using space time ninjutsu. Ino had only finished 39 laps.
"Slow moving bitch." Tenson gripped at her through rough breathing.

"You never said shit about how we had to finish the laps sensei."
Spoke menma with a grumble
"So, what's next today?" Asked Ino while rubbing her sore feet.

"Now we practice chakra. For the following weeks we will be going over tree walking. Then it will be 30 minutes of target practice and 30 minutes of meditation." Obito finished throwing three Kunai into the high parts of three trees and pointed.
"For the next hour I am going to sit back and watch as you all try and climb these trees to retrieve Kunai. Next exercise is water walking."

(Note: I'm mearly going through day one to show what transpired after this its the Wave Arc.)

They spent the next 30 minutes going over chakra. Each trying to walk up the tree with only there feet after being shown how to do it by obito. After the 30 minutes were over Ino had nearly made it to the top. At which point obito explained that since she had less chakra that her control would naturally be better. Menma and tenson had both made it to around the same area of the tree so it could be concluded that they had around the same amount of chakra.

The target practice went by quickly. Tenson being average along with Ino while Menma seemed to be a natural. The meditation was relaxing and seemed to heel the damage that had effected their bodies, well, healed the sore muscles. Formation training was next. The team was placed around a "dummy" they had to defend from range attack as obito attacked with Kunai and shuriken. The triangle formation place ino up front with the boys on the side to cover more ground and to be able to aid Ino as needed. Finally Obito sat down in front of them.
"Time to begin field training. Now each of you have to have some position you wish to hold or specialize in for your foreseeable future. It's time we had a talk about this so I can begin planing and training you in these areas."

"I want to be a mid to long range ninjutsu specialist. I can easily teleport myself or enemies away to get the distance needed to keep my teammates out of the danger area."
Spoke menma before looking at Obito to see how he reacted.

"That's not a bad idea, however what position do you wish to hold using this. What field of the ninja world do you find most suiting." Obito spoke looking at him.

"Oh, okay." SPoke Menma before thinking for a moment.
WHat exactly did he want to do with his life? He hadn't really thought of it before. After a minute of thinking to himself he came to a conclusion.
"I want to the the Commander of the ANBU forces. It's the only position my father never held. Also, with the mask on people will learn to fear ME and not my father or the Namikaze name."

"Seeking an identiy of your own by throwing yours away huh? I can teach you a thing or two about that. Now you princess." Obito motioned towards the blond.
"Well sense you dropped you ignorant and immature approach." She spat dripping sarcasim like venom from her fangs.
"I suppose I can answer. As a Yamanaka my abilities lie in a few specific areas that make me well suited for certain positions. While active I hope to become a highly regarded member of the interigation squad. But like most women I eventually want a family. When that time comes I hope to have a good enough presintaion and standing with the village in order to get a ninja psychologist field open under the medical field. With the different effect this lifestyle can have on people mental health is needed. I am still shaken from yesterday. So imagen the others who've been in actual combat? or-"
"Okay, Tenson."
"I was still talki-"
"What is it that you want to be when you grow up little buddy."
"Dead." Tenson spoke.

Obito laughed somewhat nervously and scrathched the back of his head.
"Well we are all going to have to die eventually. More than likely you are going to die in the field, since very few ninja's die of old age. What would you like to be in the mean time.?" Asked Obito adopted his serious posture once again.

"I'm rather impartial really. Although I have taken a huge interest in fuinjutsu. So the idea of become a fuinjutsu specialist and research is slightly appealing. Especially since it can open more doorways in this world then any form of ninjutsu." He finished looking back at Obito..
"Why are you so awkward all of a sudden sensei.

Obito adopted a serious visage at this and looked slightly sad.
"Well to be honest with you kids. I've seen quite a bit of death in my life, lost one of my teammates and many clan members during the war. I'd really not have any of my students die, and I'd really rather not have one WANTING to die." He spoke.

Tenson groaned. "Well you asked." Tenson muttered as Obito dismissed them to lunch. Tenson stood up and began to walk towards the Acamichi grill, one of his favorite places to eat in town.
"Well, I'm going to go get some grub. If anyone wants to join."

Menma stood up.
"Sure I'm game" Spoke Menma before stretching slightly. INo then stood up and gave them both a small glare.
"A barbecue is no place for a lady, but since I haven nothing else to go."
Menma smirked and grabbed both Tenson's and Inos arms.
"You guys wanna experience my teleportation jutsu?

Tenson smirked a bit as Ino shoke her head and tried to dismiss it before Tenson covered her mouth.
"Don't listen to her. DO IT!" He yelled trying to prompt Menma. Obito smirked trying to contain his laughter at the trio. He expected them to be extremely dysfunctional but they some how got a long.

Menma smirked and channeled his chakra enough for all of them to faze out of existence. Just a split second later they all materialized outside of the akamichi barbecue. Ino shook her arm loose before bopping Menma of the top of the head hard enough to leave a large bump and knock him over.

Tenson smirked at this, he calls the shots and the Namikaze takes the blow. Wonderful.
"Don't worry Menma, mom and dad make the bread for the resturant. Or, well the mix they use for the dinner rolls. So I get a discount."
Tenson smirked and walked on in.
"Since you had to be a bitch ino you're paying for your own meal."

Menma, revitalized at the idea of free food, kicked himself up off the ground and landed on his feet. Menma gave a faint smirk and looked over at Ino.
"If your willing to call it a date, I'll pay for your food." He said, the slight smirk never leaving his face as he looked into her sky blue eyes.

Ino soat her normal vicious voice.
"There is no way in hell."
Tenson was smirking wildly as Ino reached for her wallet.
"What! My wallets gone! Shew."
With pleading eyes she looked at Menma and Tenson.
"Guys would one of you-"
"No, you go hungry for being a bitch to Menma-kun." Tenson drew the Kun out and nudged the Namikaze in the ribs.
"Menma is there anyway I can get you to buy my lunch. WITHOUT saying that."
Tenson rolled his eyes at this waiting. Ino had no clue he snatched her wallet before they teleported. But this could play off well.

Menma looked thoughtful for a moment while he made it a point to get into a thinking pose. This could work out well for him if he played his cards right.
"This time won't be a date, but IF I buy you lunch, you owe me a date at the time and place of my choosing. Fair?"

"NO!" Ino screamed causing looks as Tenson closed his fist. "I WILL NOT GO ON A DATE WITH YOU!" As Tenson prepared for the tounge lashing he was about to dish out Inos stomach growled and she hung her.
"maybe just one date..."

The smile that spead across Menma's face could have lit up the darkest of rooms. He grabbed ino's hand and began to drag her inside. He saw asuma's team sitting there and decided to take a seat with them.

Tenson was very glad Menma sat with Asumas team as he and Shikamaru actually got along. The rest of the meal went smoothly as did training.
Menma recieved three jutsu.

Wind release: Air Bullet - After forming the needed handseals the user spits multiple small bursts of air from their mouth

Lightning release: Steady Current - After the forming of the needed hand seals the user is able to send a small current through their hand or conductive material.

Lightning release: Straight shot - After forming the needed hand seals the user claps his hands together and sends a strong bolt of lightning in the frontal direction.

Ino receive more minor jutsu due to her poor skills

Water Release: Steady Torrent - After forming the needed hand seals the user releases a steady stream of water from their mouth.
D-rank

Water Release: Syrup capture field - After forming the needed hand seals the user releases a sticky supstance from their mouth capable of subduing the enemy.

Earth release: Stone wall - After forming the needed hand seals the user slams their hands into the ground forming a wall infront of them.

Fire Release: Pheonix flower jutsu (no explanation needed)

Lightning release: Steady Current -After the forming of the needed hand seals the user is able to send a small current through their hand or conductive material.

Lightning release: Spider thread - After forming the necessarily handsigns the user releases a few small bolts of lightning from their mouth. These move wildly and are had to aim. More for hitting wide areas.

The days training ended, as did the next two months. With Ino learning her three jutsu and Menma and Tenson creating two over their own. But after the gardening, cat chasing and stock room "missions" the team was forced to endure they had finally been given a C-rank escort mission. They'd accompany a drunken bridge builder named Tazuna on his journy back home and see through the incomplete of the bridge.
